Terms and Conditions

Vistara Select is available up to 4 hours before flight departure on flights operated by Vistara.
Vistara Select is applicable for all fare families under Economy Class.
All seats offered for advance selection will always be subject to availability at the time of request. Seats offered and selected will be on a per passenger and per flight segment basis.
Customers who choose not to select seats in advance may select from any remaining seats during check-in. If no seats are selected before flight departure, customers will be assigned a seat but without any guarantee of the resulting seat type or if they will be seated together with the other customers in their booking.
Vistara Select is subject to the payment of a fee, which will be charged on a per passenger and per flight segment basis i.e. For Economy Class, a fee will be charged for the advance selection of Extra Legroom Seats/Emergency Exit Seats, Preferred Zone Seats and Standard Seats, as mentioned in the tables above.
The quantum of the advance seat selection fee may vary from time to time. In case the advance seat selection fee for the selected seat is varied after a customer has selected his/her seat, the amount quoted at the time of seat selection shall be treated as final.

Club Vistara points will not be awarded on the amount paid as Vistara Select fee.
Selected seats will be confirmed upon full payment of the ticket fare and the Vistara Select fee (where applicable).
Club Vistara Platinum members will be able to select Vistara Select seats at no charge.
Vistara Select is not available for customers travelling on interline/codeshare tickets connecting to/from international destinations.
Components of the tariff may undergo a change at any time, without prior notice.

Eligibility criteria for emergency exit seats

As per the ‘Civil Aviation Requirements’ prescribed by the Office of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, customers occupying emergency exit row seats must meet certain eligibility criteria to ensure the safety of the airplane and its customers. Such customers must:

Be able bodied and above 15 years of age with no permanent or temporary impairment like sensory impairment, strength or mobility limitation, or intellectual impairment
Not be travelling with service dogs
Not be a senior citizen, i.e. above 60 years of age as on the date of travel
Not be travelling with an infant or child below 15 years of age, or with anyone who requires special assistance in case of an emergency evacuation
Be able to read and understand safety instructions related to emergency evacuation provided by Vistara in print, handwritten or graphic form or understand verbal commands in English/Hindi
Not require Portable Oxygen Concentrators on board the aircraft
Not be pregnant or travelling with someone who is pregnant
Not require an extension seat belt; and
Be able and willing to open the exit door if needed and assist the cabin crew as may be required

Since government regulations require crew members to verify and ensure that a person is able and willing to perform the functions associated with being seated in an emergency row prior to take off, customers are requested to ensure that they meet the abovementioned criteria prior to booking Emergency Exit Row Seats. In case a customer is found to be ineligible to occupy an Emergency Exit Row Seat, he/she will be reassigned to another seat before or during their journey with no refund of any advanced seat selection fees that were paid.
