We are delighted to bring to you Vistara YoungStar; An Unaccompanied Minors Service where your children (aged between 5 & 12) are looked after and provided with special care every step of the way, so you can be rest assured. For the United Arab Emirates(UAE), children aged between 5-18 years are regarded as Unaccompanied Minors (UM). 

Our dedicated service ensures that your children will be taken good care of during the entire journey. They will be escorted by airline staff through all the airport processes and seated in the aircraft where our cabin crew will keep a watchful eye on them. Your children will then be handed over at the destination to the authorized individual specified in the UM form. A fee of INR 2500 will be charged for each unaccompanied minor for travel within India and USD 60 for travel outside India. Parents/guardians must ensure that all Unaccompanied Minors (UM) are carrying the correct photo identification, which is mandatory for travel.

Customers aged between 12-18 years are regarded as young customers and may travel if parents/guardians choose to waive the UM handling of the child by signing the “UM Assistance and Handling Waiver Form”. If you wish your child to be treated as an unaccompanied minor, then this can be arranged for.


A 12-18-year-old, regarded as a young customer, cannot be held responsible for assisting and taking care of a 5-12-year-old, who is considered an Unaccompanied Minor.
