A320 Rated Captains

Pilots possessing an Indian DGCA ATPL, FRTO, COP/RTR, IR, current class I Medical and PIC rating on A320 aircraft.

Minimum flying experience of 5000 hours including 1500 hours in command of a Multi Engine, glass cockpit, large jet transport category aircraft (MTOW exceeds 20,000 KGS). A minimum of 500 hours as PIC is required on Airbus A320 family aircraft in order to be considered as a rated commander.

Flight Dispatcher (With DGCA Approved License Only)

Flight Dispatcher reports to Sr. Manager Flight Operations – Ops Technical Services and is responsible for maintaining Operational Control and Flight Watch on all Company Flights

More specifically the Flight Dispatcher will

  • Review and evaluate weather information, to determine and select the most economical route of flight.
  • Prepare an Optimized Operational flight plan, factoring Notams, Tafors and Metars, for all flights within the schedule.
  • Compute the amount of fuel required, using company and DGCA established guidelines
  • Assist the pilot in command in an emergency situation by providing any assistance necessary to ensure safe completion of the flight.
  • Liaison with A.T.C, Apron & other authorities for smooth functioning.
  • Compute the RTOW for each flight, thus ensuring maximum Payload.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by the Manager
Experience:                               Min 0-3 yrs
Academic Qualification:         10+2 Maths and Physics, Graduate will be

Ground Instructor (A320 Approved) Technical/Performance

The Ground Instructor instructs flight crew members undergoing initial, recurrent and/or transition training in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and the applicable CAR., More specifically the Ground Instructor will

  • Conduct crewmember initial, recurrent or transition training in accordance with the FOTM as directed by the Chief Pilot Training, Flight Procedures, Training and Standards
  • DAs directed, assist in the development of various flight crewmember training programs. Checks the currency of training manuals and other materials used in various light training courses
  • Complete appropriate flight crewmember ground training records and other flight training documentation in a timely manner and directs to the appropriate filing source
  • Communicate issues of concern, or of exceptional achievement, regarding crewmember trainees’ performance to the Chief Pilot Training in a timely manner

Asst. Manager - Fleet Technical Support/Documentation

Asst. Manager – Fleet Technical Support is responsible for timely distribution, supervision & updating Vistara’s Flight Operations Manuals & ensure that on board manuals are updated to a current flight operations revision status. 

  • Responsible for preparing/arranging manuals/documents for ferry flights trip kits in accordance with a specified route plan.
  • Ensure that aircraft onboard documents are handled in accordance with the requirements. Responsible for managing & organizing the functions of Technical Library.
  • Provides current manuals, publication materials and revision to all manuals holders.
  • Responsible for uploading all  flight operations and manufacturer documents /manual with proper bookmarks in e-portal for easy access.
  • Timely amendment of manuals once revisions from the manufacturer or regulatory authority are received.
  • Retention of master copy & maintain complete master set of all controlled documents
  • Ensure that the library of spare charts & navigational manuals in office are kept updated.
  • Responsible to upkeep simulator documentations and records.
  • Responsible for keeping records of incoming & outgoing documents/manuals for audit purpose.
  • Responsible for monthly check of aircrafts library to see all manuals on board are in good condition.
  • The Fleet Technical Support AM is primarily responsible for all documentation of a VTI aircrafts including MEL Publication & Documentation
  • He will also ensure the aircraft operations is conducted in a safe and economical manner satisfying all related regulatory and manufacturer requirements.
  • Additionally, he  will have documentation responsibility with all related activities (FCOM / AFM / QRH / MEL / Jeppesen / Checklist / RTOW Charts / AOM / etc)
  • Track Temporary Revisions (TR), Airworthiness Directives, DGCA CAR Compliance, etc.
  • Experience in DGCA Liaison.

Experience: Min. 5 years of experience in Flight Operations Documentation or Fleet Technical Support with experience of DGCA Liaison.
Academic Qualification: Any graduate from a recognized university.
